Start with an accurate passenger count
Count every traveller, including children and anyone joining part-way through the journey. If numbers are still changing, share your best estimate along with the likely maximum so the booking team can plan around it.

Then add up the luggage
Luggage changes everything. As a rough guide, think about how many large suitcases, small cabin bags and bulky items the group will bring.
